Economic booster of the old revolutionary base
Guangxi Baise Wacun Hydropower Station is located in the Youjiang section of the upper reaches of the Yujiang River in Tianlin County, Baise District, Guangxi. It belongs to the mainstream of the upper reaches of the Pearl River. The dam site controls a rainfall collection area of 11373km2, and the annual average flow is about 129m3/s. The total installed capacity of Wacun Power Station is 230,000 KW, and the average annual power generation is 700 million kWh. The project will be fully operational in September 2019.
